
Fattoria Santa Vittoria is located in the gentle hills of the western Valdichiana in an intact and pleasant landscape.
The company was part of the Fattoria Granducale di Pozzo and since 1980 has belonged to the Niccolai family.
The cellar was built in the mid-nineteenth century and has remained intact in its structures but equipped with modern technologies for the production and conservation of quality wines.
It extends in a single body of about 80 cultivable hectares, of which 35 are vineyards, 36 are arable land, there are also about 3000 olive trees
In addition to the classic Tuscan vines such as Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Grechetto and the international Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, also lesser-known indigenous vines such as Foglia Tonda il Pugnitello are cultivated.
The latter is an ancient Tuscan vine that was lost and found in 1981, of which the company has enhanced the great enological qualities.
After long experiments, starting from an experimental field in 1992, vines from other Italian regions have also been cultivated such as Incontro Manzoni, Vermentino, Semillon, Traminer and Nero D’Avola which allow the production of innovative wines of recognized quality.
The company has acquired experience in producing white and red wines with dried grapes, even in the vineyard, with controlled development of botrytis, obtaining elegant and innovative products for the territory.
We produce an extra virgin olive oil which has been awarded multiple awards in international competitions and various types of pasta, obtained with artisanal processes, from ancient grains grown on the farm.
At Vinitaly 2021 our Vin Santo had a score of 95/100 placing first among the Vin Santi Italians present.
