We are young wine artisans that with a lot of dedication seek to achieve excellence in its products. We are Tuscans through generations and respectful of our tradition but always having an eye to the future. We cultivate the land that we love so much with Organic Certification and vinified naturally with indigenous yeasts, too little use of sulfite.
The respect of the raw materials, the territory of Montepulciano and the consumer are the vanguard of our method: we ourselves are the firsts and very demanding consumers in drinking.
We take care of every detail for the love of wine and the joy in drinking good and genuine.

Podere della Bruciata has always been oriented towards the realisation of a close to nature and sustainable winemaking process, therefore based on the production of excellent wines, which are at the same time respectful of the environment, natural resources and the consumer, without using pesticides, weeding chemicals or other chemical products during the vinification, as well as the avoidance of invasive enological practices.

The grapes are carefully selected, with a total production of around 50 quintals per hectare. The fermentation process happens in a natural and spontaneous way thanks to the presence of natural and indigenous yeasts. In order to maintain all the organoleptic qualities, the wine is not filtered. The use of sulphur is kept at a minimum throughout the whole range.
Our company has been certified organic since 2001.
A reality on a human scale, that produces roughly 30.000 bottles per year.
The main grape variety is Sangiovese, sided with little patches of land of Colorino, Canaiolo, Pugnitello.

Wine tasting of Riserva wines and ancient Tuscan vines
A taste of Tuscany. . . from the classic evergreen Sangiovese in all its shapes and forms until its peak expression, to the least famous but remarkable original Tuscan wine varieties: Colorino, Canaiolo, Pugnitello. Grapes with authentic flavours, bound to a tradition that did not age.

Wine, Sousage, food cooked and served in traditional crockery
“Light Lunch”, farmer version (not so light). . . grilled sausages, beans “all’uccelletta”, local herbs cooked in clay, sliced toasted bread with garlic and olive oil, homemade cakes and of course, plenty of wine.

We booked through the website, very easy. There are multiple options and we chose the sweet one this time. We were greeted warmly and got the presentation of the terroir and wine making process. Beautiful experience! The wine was delicious, they explained so much to us in regards to their production process and the history of their winemaking. Our hosts were both so pleasant (even though we were late!) and still accepted our booking! We had a delicious cheese and meat board and a seat overlooking the beautiful Tuscan hills. The winery with 60 years history run by local Italian family. You can taste here very good old wines of Tuscany. Andrea, the owner and the wine maker, with his great knowledge, passion for wine took us to experience the tastes of his winery. We had amazing wine tasting where we could feel the atmosphere and soul of authentic Tuscan winery.

We had a great experience here! The wine was delicious and the staff were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and the history of wine production. We hebben hier vanmiddag genoten van een wijnproeverij met vier personen. Nadat Andrea ons van informatie had voorzien in een van de wijngaarden zijn we naar binnen gegaan voor het vervolg waar ook ons het eerste wijntje om te proeven werd overhandigd. Vervolgens zijn we verder gegaan met de tour en het proeven van andere wijnen, uiteindelijk aan een fijne tafel plaatsgenomen met een mooi panorama en genoten van nog wat wijnen, voorzien van heerlijke verse hapjes. Het was een hele leuke en enerverende ervaring, top!

We visited winery by chance after we tasted the wine in the city, hence wanted to know more about them. The propietor is very kind. Even in the midst of finishing the last batch of grapes, he took the time to show us around. His enthusiasm in winemaking craft affected us deeply. The wines are superb and exquisite. Naturally we bought some of the winery’s bio-certified hand crafted treasures (products). Thank you for hosting us on short notice and we wish you all the best! Think we will definitely come back for more wines.

P.S. Like all treasure in this world, the location is a bit hidden so please don’t rely only on Google and give them a call before visiting.
