Fattoria Santo Stefano

CHIANTI – via Collegalle 3, Greve in Chianti (FI)

Fattoria Santo Stefano is an ancient small rural village and it is located on the top of a hill at 450 meters m.l.s., therefore it is a very ventilated position in summer months, as well as a gorgeous panoramic view, with a view to the south (Val di Greve and Siena) than to the north west (San Casciano – Volterra). All around there are 20 hectares of Sangiovese vineyards, as well as fields of Olive trees and large forest of oak, maple and beech trees. The farm is a wine and olive growing company, and it is possible to take guided visits to the wine cellars and to the oil-making plant.

We organize guided tours of the vineyards and wine cellars, with an introduction to the history of the farm, the different stages of production and aging of the wine, the characteristics of the soil and our grapes, followed by the tasting of our Chianti Classici wines. DOCG and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, accompanied by light tastings of bruschetta and local products of the area. The company is located 4 kms far from GREVE in CHIANTI and 20 kms from Florence City, or 45 km from Siena City. Hospitality is purely family-run from arrival and leaving. The apartments for rentals are 8 in total for about 30 beds. There are beautiful surrounding gardens areas and the swimming pool area located to the east, there are individual areas equipped with umbrellas, tables, chairs and deck chairs for relaxing and sunbathing.
