Monterotondo is a small family winery located in Gaiole in Chianti at an altitude between 550 and 570 meters with east, south-west exposure.
For 22 years, the organic company has been producing wines only from native vines, with great attention to the tradition of the Chianti Classico area; we produce as well as you have two Chianti Classico, a white and a rosé and from 2019 our novelty the production of a zero-dosage sparkling wine “Metodo Classico” from Sangiovese, totally elaborated in our company.

You will taste 3 wines accompanied with salami and cheeses

3 WINES TO BE TASTED WITH SALAMI AND CHEESES
Everything will be anticipated by a splendid walk in the vineyards with explanation of the processing, to then go to the cellar where we will explain in a very simple way our processing and production systems of our wine to finish you will taste our classic method sparkling wine that has made 36 months on yeasts.
TASTING + TUSCAN DISH – 2h – € 40pp
walks in the vineyards with explanations of the processing and what the organic is to do, passing in the cellar with processing methods and wine production, tasting of three wines, with a cutting board of cured meats and cheeses, our classic method that fermentes in the bottle on the yeasts for 36 months.
All accompanied by a tuscan cooking plate that will be prepared according to the season.

Excellent experience!…we did the tour of the facilities and wine tasting…They were extremely nice and knowledgeable and the wine was great!! We learned a lot about wine and we could see the passion this family had for wine and the region. Must visit!
