Castello di Albola covers 900 hectares, 110 of which are planted with vineyards, located at altitudes ranging from 400 to 680 meters above sea level. Here, the ideal microclimate, significant temperature variations, and altitude contribute to the creation of outstanding wines, nationally and internationally recognized as Wines of Altitude.
On soils of alberese and galestro we cultivate the flagship grape variety of Chianti Classico, Sangiovese, found in our historic vineyards of Capaccia, Selvole, Madonnino, Ellere, Marangole, Sant’Ilario, and Mondeggi. Alongside it, other native Tuscan varieties such as Malvasia and Trebbiano are grown, used in the production of our traditional Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC.
In the vineyards of Poggio alle Fate and Acciaiolo, international varieties such as Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive, giving life to wines with a unique and distinctive character.
Completing this vineyard landscape are oak woods and olive groves, where the Frantoio, Leccino, and Moraiolovarieties are cultivated, producing a fine extra virgin olive oil, an authentic expression of our land.

The service we received was outstanding. We were welcomed promptly and it was a very interesting tour. We didn’t want to leave. Incredible views. This is a private estate so it is not open to the public throughout the whole year as the family who owns it comes to stay. Must visit if you would like try authentic Chianti Classico in Tuscany! We did a wine tasting here and a tour of the vineyard. The food was delicious – we had a charcuterie board and the typical crostini. Absolutely amazing food and wine, definitely worth the money

Where to begin.
First of all we mistook our reservation and arrived a day early for our tour experience of the castle. However, Roberto went out of his way to find a place for us. He was an excellent pleasant guide of the castle and very knowledgeable on the topic and answered every question.
The castle and vineyards were breathtaking in the heart of Chianti, along with the garden, cellars and the very friendly English speaking staff.
The food was fantastic, alongside the amazing wines that we got to taste.
All in all, a 5/5 experience and would totally recommend visiting!

We had a wine tasting and a lunch this place. Both the vinery and the food was a spectacular experience. The wines with the tour were super and the food was incredible as well, after the lunch we had the opportunity to walk around the place and have an exciting view of the tuscan landscape.

We stopped for a wine tasting. It seems they accept bookings for it but they were kind enough to offer the tasting for our walk-in visit, too. They were extremely knowledgeable on their wines and production. We left the castle with a lot of wines but also some very informative answers to our questions. The castle has an impeccable view of a valley full of vineyards, so it’s a great place to take some break and watch the nature as well.

This was a busy place but Lorenzo really took the time to show it all. We saw the Vinyard, the cellars and the gardens. All splendidly arranged. Lunch was light and focus was really on the 4 wines they served. All subtle and explained with passion. And I should not forget about the olive oil. Amazing! Overall a 3h30 journey in the world of Albola. Totally worth it. Well done to you All

We enjoyed our experience at Albola, we booked in advance a degustation menu wich included 4 plates and the wine pairing. Everything was well organized by the sommeliers wich were very professional. The cellars and vineyards tour was something that they organized for us afer the lunch because we were late to catch the morning tour. The staff was great and offered an excellent service. The view is 10/10 it gives you a taste of toscany in every aspect. I recommend it for a romantic gateway, we will come back for sure.

Ich komme aus dem Schwärmen nicht heraus, mit Abstand das beste ,,Winetasting“ in der Toskana. Ein sehr freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres Essen und super leckere und qualitativ hochwertige Weine. Es gibt kein besseres Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als dieses. Die Größe der Gruppe sind perfekt gewählt und es ist ein sehr guter Mix aus Informationen, Historie des Weinguts und der Verkostung der Weine. Es war super organisiert und liebevoll vorbereitet. Vignoble trouvé par hasard en me promenant dans le Chianti.
Endroit magnifique entouré de ces magnifiques vignes et ce merveilleux paysage.
Une réservation instantanée pour une visite et une dégustation a pu être faite.
Isabella, notre guide du jour a été fantastique avec nous tout le long.
Elle a même fait l’effort de nous parler en français (avec un français impeccable).
Une très très belle expérience que je recommande.
Visite de la vigne, des caves et pour terminer une belle dégustation !
