Maurizio Fuselli: “Fattoria Terre del Marchesato is a small family run winery I manage with my wife Giovanna and our three sons. Our vineyards are located right in the hearth of the best area in Bolgheri, bordering the most prestigious estates where the great wines of Bolgheri such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Guado al Tasso are produced. Our territory has an ancient historical background where gentry and peasant sharecropping have often coexisted and worked together. Terre del Marchesato is named after a Marquises owner of our land earlier than 1954 therefore framing a piece of this history. Converted definitively in a winery in 1998, we joined from the beginning the DOC Bolgheri, designation representing the entity with the duty to preserve and protect integrity of our Terroir now considered one of the most vocated in the world for high quality wine production. Aiming to carve out a small but remarkable niche beside the best producers in Bolgheri, from the very beginning we have endeavored to pursue excellence to make our wines ambassadors of unique terroir and identity of tradition and our family history.”

PFor all the wine lovers interested in getting to knowing us closely we have organized a range of proposals discovering Terre del Marchesato and all our products. A unique and satisfying experience during which you will be welcomed informally and professionally by our staff that will describe with a wealth of details and curious anecdotes, all the secrets of our company, starting from the vines to the cellar and from the “Barrique” aging room to the tasting area where you can finally taste our wonderful wines.
AWe are open all year round, from Monday to Sunday according on availability.
We accept groups from 1 to 24 people indoor, over 24 people we have availability on request outdoor. Every tour with wine tasting is 60/75 minutes long and they begin at prearranged hours.
CLASSIC – € 25pp
A journey that starts in our vines, continues in our cellar and “Barrique” aging room and ends with the tasting of 3 representative company wines. A journey in order to understand the history of the family and how we make our wines.

The vineyards:
the visit starts in our vines, illustrating our history and the “Bolgheri” philosophy and territory. Our intent is to make the guests part of the searching and the effort that the company makes daily in order to produce qualitative and natural wines.
The Cellar:
an introduction on our main winemaking methods. Continuing our experience you will be guided through the wine cellar in order to understand the working and ageing steps without excluding the opportunity of watching live phases regarding the harvest, grape selection and bottling that may take place the day you visit. A moment of great pleasure, continuing the discover of our company, enthused by the aroma and flavour of our wines.
Wine Tasting:
• PAPEO: Vermentino single variety vinification
• EMILIO PRIMO ROSSO: our DOC Bolgheri
• TARABUSO: Cabernet Sauvignon single variety vinification
The tasting is paired with our own production olive oil, schiacciata (typical local flat bread)

Our wine experience that includes an immersion in the production philosophy of Terre del Marchesato, discovering our SUPERTUSCAN mono-varietal PREMIUM wines.
