Viticcio has been producing wine since 1964 among the green hills of Tuscany, in Greve in Chianti — a village nestled between Florence and Siena.
The dream of our winery was to capture the essence and potential of Chianti. Over time, however, we began to be recognized for labels that express the richness and quality of the Tuscan terroir. Since then, our work has grown to encompass the direct management of 120 hectares across the hills of Chianti Classico and the Maremma — prestigious winegrowing areas where we now produce the finest expressions of their enological traditions.
Respect is the word that best defines Viticcio’s philosophy. Respect means finding balance between innovation and tradition, between the natural environment and the agricultural landscape shaped by human hands.
We strive to craft wines that capture and honor all the nuances of our chosen territories. With the same care and dedication, we produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil and manage an agriturismo beautifully restored from a traditional Tuscan farmhouse.
At our Estate in Greve in Chianti, where we host tastings, we cultivate Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah.

VERMENTINO IGT TOSCANA
100% vermentino – vinification: 6 months in stainless steel only
Pale straw yellow with greenish highlights. Fresh, fragrant aromas of citrus, white flowers, and subtle marine notes. On the palate, it is savory, balanced, and lively, with a citrusy finish and a delicate hint of almond.
ROSATO IGT TOSCANA
50% sangiovese 50% syrah – vinification: 6 months in stainless steel only
A pale, bright rosé with aromas of fresh red berries and wildflowers. On the palate, it is crisp and fragrant, with good sapidity and a fresh, lingering finish.
CHIANTI CLASSICO DOCG
95% sangiovese 5% merlot – 12 months in barrique plus additional aging in large casks
An elegant and harmonious Chianti Classico, offering notes of ripe cherry, delicate spices, and subtle balsamic nuances. The well-integrated oak supports a balanced palate with good structure and a refined, medium-length finish.
CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA DOCG
90% sangiovese 5% merlot 5% syrah – 18 months in barrique plus additional aging in large casks for a total of 24 months
A Chianti Classico Riserva of great balance and complexity, where Sangiovese expresses depth and aromatic tension, complemented by the softness of Merlot and the spiciness of Syrah. Aging in newer French oak for the latter two varieties adds elegant toasted and spicy notes without overshadowing the freshness of the fruit.
PRUNAIO GRAN SELEZIONE DOCG
100% sangiovese grosso – Minimum total aging of 30 months in barrique and large casks. Minimum bottle aging: 3 months
The ultimate expression of elegance and authenticity of the terroir. Reveals complex aromas of cherry, violet, and forest floor, with subtle balsamic and spicy notes. On the palate, it is deep, harmonious, and vibrant, with silky tannins and a long, mineral finish.

We had a great stay at Fattoria Viticcio. The staff were kind and helpful and the pool was an amazing feature during the hot, summer days. We also did the winery tour, which was informative and interesting. At night, the constellations are in full view.

We visited with a viator winery tour. Our guide, Daniele, was fantastic. I think the winery tour person’s name was Lauren, but I am sad not to remember. She was top notch and knew everything about the wine business. Her talk was so informative. And she was delightful to visit with. We were served three very nice high end classic wines, We were also served bread with their own grown olive oil + slices of pecorino cheese + prosciutto meats. Not only did we have a great time, we also received a great education about how wines are made. Besides the winery there is a hotel where you can stay and enjoy the beautiful pool.

We had a great time staying here. It’s ideally located 1 hour away from Florence and 5 mins away from Greve in Chianti (which means that if you have a car, you can find yourself in all the loveliest spots of Tuscany quite quickly) but, as it is in a high altitude wineyard, you feel like you get to enjoy Tuscany all for yourself.
The staff were super nice and welcoming, the room was HUGE and the view you get when you open the window is worth the stay. On top of that, we also enjoyed a tour and tasting in the winery and it was lovely.
Highly recommended for people looking to avoid the more crowded, expensive hotels inside the villages in the region.

They did a great job to renovate the whole place: the wine tasting area is comfortable and sleek, the explanation was on point and the snacks very much needed.

What an amazing winery and accomodation run by amazing people. The rooms are quality and the property feels like a dream. Their wine tasting was run beautifully and their wine is some of the best we had in Tuscany. The pool is amazing for families and singles alike.
We had mishap due to the global IT issue and this place was flexible, mind, communicative.
Thank you to this wonderful team who feel like a family.
